Recruiting Specialist

Position Description

Sayari is looking for a Recruiting Specialist to undertake all hiring activities from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. The person in this role will work closely with Sayari’s Operations team, and hiring managers to meet all of the recruitment needs of the Company, while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES:

  • Oversee & manage all aspects of the recruitment process for a wide range of positions 
  • Interviewing candidates on the shortlist and maintaining a database on employees for future vacancies.
  • Mediating between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Using web-based technology to analyze hiring trends, post job vacancies, and follow up with candidates during the hiring process.
  • Producing reports to assess recruitment efficiency
  • Measuring the results of candidate interviews and job placements using hiring metrics.
  • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience through survey and make recommendations of improvements or changes as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in recruitment & talent acquisition
  • Hiring & creating diverse candidate pool
  • Experience in different interviewing techniques and assessment methods
  • Excellent analytical skills to examine resumes and find the best-suited candidates.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, & diversity job boards
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience hiring for engineering & sales positions
  • In-depth knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity offerings. 
  • Proficient writing skills to produce reports on hiring analysis
  • Startup experience, or alternatively a multifaceted skillset
  • Experience hosting & participating in job fairs
