We are looking for a detail-oriented SEO Manager to join our growing marketing team and take ownership of our SEO efforts. You will be responsible for leading our organic search efforts, including on- and off-page optimization, website performance, link building, and strategic content development with the intent of building a funnel of demand across all our verticals. Your efforts will be supported by our content team, as well as the rest of the marketing organization.
The ideal candidate will bring specific experience and demonstrated expertise in both technical and content-related aspects of SEO, with the ability to interpret the results to stakeholders. You will be interacting with the whole marketing ecosystem, therefore previous experience of Google Analytics, WordPress – or a similar CMS – will be important, and a general understanding of CRMs will be useful in this role. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and eager to learn and apply best practices related to data analytics and marketing.
4-6 years of experience in a Search Engine Optimization
Experience with optimizing websites and landing pages for Google, Bing, and other search platforms
Experience in keyword research, building keyword maps, and working with content creators to ensure content is effective in search
Ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including SEO audits to identify technical issues, keyword research and mapping, metadata development, on-page and website development revisions based on performance targets and business objectives.
Experience with analytics platforms and CRM systems; an appropriate understanding of HTML and CSS
Comfortable with remote communication tools such as Slack or Zoom
Helpful Skills & Experience
Understanding of Search Advertising
Basic use of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for image sizing and optimization
Experience in a startup environment or a small team
Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
