The U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued sanctions against several companies known to provide financial support to Hamas in the wake of the terrorist group’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

While much of Hamas’ worldwide financial networks remain hidden, an examination of public records by Sayari analysts reveals:

  1. Links between unsanctioned entities and the sanctioned Zawaya Group for Development and Investment Co
  2. A previously unidentified link between Hamas and Zawaya Handbags for Developing Projects

These findings could provide additional leads to defense and law enforcement investigators.
