Sayari Welcomes Ambassador Francesco M. Talò to Advisory Board to Strengthen Global Security Expertise

Sayari, the leading provider of corporate, risk and supply chain transparency into complex commercial relationships, announces the appointment of Ambassador Francesco M. Talò to its Advisory Board. A seasoned diplomat with decades of experience in international security, geopolitical strategy, and cyber diplomacy, Talò brings a multidimensional perspective to Sayari’s mission of advancing trusted global risk intelligence.

Ambassador Talò has recently been appointed as Italy’s first Special Envoy for the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEC), a transcontinental initiative for goods, energy, and digital connectivity aimed at increasing economic integration between South Asian, Middle Eastern, and European countries.

He is also a Senior Advisor to Italy’s Ministry of Defense and served as a diplomatic adviser to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Prior to this, Ambassador Talò was Italy’s Permanent Representative to NATO, where he led critical security dialogues and represented Italy’s interests in defense initiatives.

“We’re honored to welcome Ambassador Francesco Talò to Sayari’s Advisory Board,” said Benjamin Power, COO and Co-founder of Sayari. “His expertise in transatlantic security, NATO and European defense cooperation, and technological innovation – combined with decades of diplomatic leadership in Rome and around the world – will strengthen our ability to support global institutions in navigating today’s most complex geopolitical and supply chain risks.”

Talò’s diplomatic career spans postings in Israel, the United Nations in New York, Tokyo, Bonn, and the Prime Minister’s Office in Rome. He served as Consul General in New York and later as Italy’s Ambassador to Israel, strengthening bilateral relations during periods of major regional shifts. He also held senior roles as Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, and as Coordinator for Cybersecurity at Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“After four decades of public service advancing Italy’s national interests within the broader context of European cooperation and global partnerships, I believe Sayari is a natural partner in upholding those same principles through technology and economic intelligence,” said Ambassador Francesco Talò. “I’m proud to bring my diplomatic and strategic experience to the private sector in support of a company empowering enterprises to navigate a world defined by complexity and risk. Sayari delivers the clarity and tools today’s decision-makers need to act with confidence and foresight.”

Ambassador Talò’s appointment follows a series of strategic advisor appointments that reflect Sayari’s growing role as a trusted source for both public and private sector stakeholders navigating geopolitical risk, illicit finance, and supply chain complexity.
