Sayari, the transparency company empowering organisations with immediate, actionable insights into worldwide corporate ownership, trade activity, and risk, has been selected for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) Data Framework, a strategic £12 million initiative supporting the transformation of the MoD’s Supply Chain Risk Management programme.
The UK MoD Data Framework positions Sayari to deliver critical intelligence on the financial and operational resilience of the UK’s defence supply chain, encompassing nearly 10,000 organisations. This partnership builds on Sayari’s successful history of supporting government agencies, including the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The selection comes as defence agencies globally seek supply chain risk management (SCRM) solutions to gain authoritative insight into foreign commercial and trade networks for decisive action.
Sayari’s platform will support the UK’s Data Strategy for Defence – which aims to transform the department into a robust, data-driven organisation. As defence organisations worldwide face exponentially increasing volumes of data and unprecedented global uncertainty, the MoD Data Framework addresses these challenges by investing in capabilities that enable enhanced systems interoperability and real-time sharing of insights across multiple threat domains.
“This partnership with the UK Ministry of Defence marks a significant milestone in Sayari’s mission to deliver actionable, global risk intelligence at scale,” said Benjamin Power, COO and Co-founder of Sayari. “In an increasingly competitive digital arms race, comprehensive supply chain visibility and risk management are a necessity for national security. Sayari’s technology has been purpose-built for investigators, and we’re proud to support the UK Ministry of Defence’s digital transformation, ensuring decision-makers have access to structured intelligence for informed decisions.”
Victoria Cope, Defence’s Digital Commercial Director said “the Data Framework will enhance supply chain resilience, which is a critical component in delivering Defence’s Digital strategy.”
Sayari’s expanded engagement with the UK Ministry of Defence will deliver detailed insights into financial stability, operational capacity, cybersecurity, and other critical risk indicators across the UK’s defence supply chain.
